Job Responsibilities:
- Valuation of raw materials, packing materials, work in progress, and finished goods in the software
- Efficiency analysis of raw materials and packing materials based on quantity compared to finished goods
- Analyze costs and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency
- Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives
- Create and maintain accurate budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor actual results against budget and forecast
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply while minimizing waste
- Manage inventory accuracy and control
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to support decision-making
- Analysis of variances in value based on actual versus standard for raw materials, packing materials, and overheads
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with financial planning and analysis
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Calculation of landed cost (LC costing)
- Determination of product cost and pricing
- Creation of a master budget that includes sales, raw materials, overheads, and other expenses
Primary Qualifications
- Good knowledge of IFRS, BSA, import, and export
- Good knowledge about cost, budget, and inventory management is a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships as a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
- Excellent in MS Office (word, excel, outlook) and Google Workspace
- Should be proactive and dynamic
Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in accounting, accounting-related software, finance, VAT, audits, banking, budget management, cash flow management, cost and inventory management
- The applicant should be tech-savvy and adaptable to software based workflow management
Educational Requirements:
- Masters in Accounting/Finance from a reputed university
- Professional qualification in Accounting/Finance will get preference (CA/CMA/ACCA Part Qualified)
